I loved being just a few steps from the beach and minutes from grove park, which made my weekend strolls absolutely delightful. the friendly staff also really enhanced my stay with their warm service and local tips.

Avoid for Family with children
The receptionist was blunt, only gave me a key and waved me off. The breakfast staff, they get a gold star for being attentive, always smiling and checking on everyone, but it didn't save my stay.
It wasn’t affordable, but for the state of the place, I can't say it was worth it.

I stayed at The Sandringham and truly enjoyed my time. The location is fantastic, right by the pier. Breakfast options impressed me, offering a hearty selection. The room could use a bit of refreshing, but overall, the experience was more than satisfactory.

We had a lovely time exploring the nearby Grand Pier and enjoying the beach atmosphere. The hotel's location was fantastic, right across from the sea. The kids especially loved the easy access to the shopping centre and local amenities.
My kids wished the dining area could have been more accessible for families. The stairs were really tricky with all the breakfast trays in hand.

Comfy, Comfy, Comfy
The beachfront location was perfect for my morning strolls, right by the shimmering sea. The breakfast was a delightful spread, with everything cooked to perfection—those hot, fluffy pancakes were simply calling my name! The staff were the heartbeat of the place. they treated us like family, ensuring we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the smooth check-in and the tasty breakfast that kick-started my mornings. The karaoke nights were a blast and the sun terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun. The only downside was the bathroom setup with the shower curtain, but it didn’t take away from my great experience overall. 🌞

clean rooms, good entertainment, fantastic views
The building shows serious signs of neglect!!! Dated furniture, a slow to heat shower, and peeling paint are just a few things that need immediate attention.

Location excellent, close to beach and town. Breakfast staff attentive and friendly. Evening entertainment was lackluster and options were limited. Shower was decent. Room could use an update, very dated.

I had a single room with a flat-screen TV, heating, and a nice private bathroom. The bed was comfy and the shower was perfect. Amazing views of the pier and beach. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Accessible lifts made getting around easy.

lovely hotel in a great location right by the pier, staff were super friendly n the bar was nice too. my single room was cozy, clean and well presented, looked a bit old-fashioned but it had character. brekfast looked good even tho i skipped it. overall, really enjoyed my stay!
the decor is kinda dated n could use some work, the shower was tiny n not that great. also no wifi which was a bummer.

Had an awesome time with my friends! Perfect spot for hanging out after a day at the Grand Pier and enjoying a game at the nearby golf club. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast spread was impressive—plenty of options and all tasty. The evening entertainment was a great bonus.
Only downside was the steep stairs to the restaurant, which could be tricky for those with mobility issues. But it didn’t ruin our fun!
